Saurabh Mukerjee, the visionary behind the brand Health Total, cherished the dream of making a significant contribution towards the creation of a healthy society. His firm resolution to make a difference is what acted as the propelling force to bring Health Total to the forefront in the corporate sector.
Saurabh conceptualized Health Total as an organization where ‘Good health comes from’. Recalling the origin of Health Total, Saurabh says “Anjali had been practicing as a nutritionist for 16 years. In 1996, I realized the increasing influx of patients at her clinic, which made it difficult to give personal attention to all. Hence, Health Total centers were set up to institutionalize the concept of alternative lifestyle and cater to more people with personalized attention.”
Thus, while his wife Dr. Anjali Mukerjee used her knowledge and experience as a nutritionist to prepare various weight loss and other health programs, Saurabh took over the job of establishing and marketing Health Total as a category leader owning a chain of weight loss clinics.
In a short span of two years, Saurabh succeeded in bringing Health Total to the forefront in the corporate sector where it found mention on the front pages of The Economic Times and The Times of India, so much so, that TOI used one of Health Total's leading campaigns - 'Anjali Mukerjee was here' to depict lean and fit organization in the Corporate sector. He also brought in a second line of nutritionists and herbalists under the Anjali Mukerjee method to reach out to a wider client base. From two centers in 1999, Health Total has now expanded to 15 centers in Mumbai, servicing a humungous increase in clientele, adding to the brand value of Health Total.
A business graduate from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Saurabh has played a key role in promoting Health Total as India’s premier ‘Wellness’ organization and the only company that can provide easy-to-adapt solutions for preventive health care in an environment that is inundated with stress, pollution, pesticides in food, etc. His key skills lie in marketing, quality assurance, directives to new concepts and advertising. His perusal and insight ensures that new services are regularly added. With his vision and leadership skills, the services of Health Total are accessible today to millions across the globe. To promote good health for individuals, the natural way - this is what he lives by.
On the personal front, Saurabh is a keen sports person and has won the national championship in yachting in Enterprise and Lazor class in 1983. He is a keen player of tennis and squash. He and his wife reside in Mumbai and have two daughters, Anchal and Suchita.
