Saurabh Mukerjee, the visionary behind the brand Health Total, conceptualised Health Total as an organization - "where good health comes from". He has been instrumental in being able to create services and products from this idea and promote Health Total as the only Company that can provide easy-to-adapt solutions for preventive health care in an environment that is inundated with stress, pollution, pesticides in food, etc. While his wife Dr. Anjali Mukerjee used her knowledge and experience as a nutritionist to prepare health programmes and design health foods, Mr Mukerjee took over the job of establishing Health Total as a category leader owning a chain of weight loss clinics in Mumbai and marketing health foods that are low in calorie and high in fibre and nutritional supplements. In a short span of two years, he succeeded in bringing Health Total to the forefront in the corporate sector where it found mention in the front pages of The Economic Times and The Times of India, so much so, that TOI used one of Health Total's leading campaigns - 'Anjali Mukerjee was here' to depict lean and fit organisation in the Corporate sector. In these years, Mr. Mukerjee has been instrumental in setting up a successful pilot plant for foods, introducing a healthy snacking range and whole wheat bread in over 4000 stores in Delhi, Bombay, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore. With respect to the health clinics, Mr. Mukerjee has brought in a second line of nutritionists and herbalists under the Anjali Mukerjee method to reach out to a wider client base. From the two centres in 1999, Health Total has now opened more ten centres (Total 12 in Mumbai), run three campaigns, serviced a 300% increased clientele, adding to the brand value of Health Total, Anjali Mukerjee. Professionally, Mr. Mukerjee's skills lie in marketing, production, quality assurance, directives to new concepts and advertising. On the personal front, he is a keen sports person and has won the national championship in yachting in Enterprise and Lazor class in 1983. He is a keen player of tennis and squash. He and his wife reside in Mumbai and have two daughters, Anchal and Suchita.
