Infused with malic and citric acid, tomatoes can produce a great amount of gastric acid that leads to acidity and heartburn.

While some experts say that it is the caffeine in the chocolate that triggers acidity, but actually chocolate relaxes the muscle that controls the backflow of stomach acid which in turn leads to heartburn and acid reflux.

Fatty or fried foods

Since fatty foods take more time to digest, they tend to stay longer in your stomach which gives birth to gastroesophageal reflux disease. Such foods also lead to obesity and other health disorders.
