Ingredients

Soup Ingredients

1/4 Dudhi
1/2 Cabbage
1/2 Capsicum
2 tsp Moong Dal
3 cups of Water
1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
Salt to taste
Black Pepper to taste

1/2 cup Palak (stalk removed & leaves finely chopped)
1 tsp Butter

Instructions

1.Mix dudhi, cabbage, capsicum and dal except for spinach and lemon in a pressure cooker with 3 cups water and give 4-5 whistle.
2.Once the pressure cooker is cool, blend the vegetables with water to make a puree.
3.Sieve the puree through a soup strainer add lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste. Keep the soup aside.
4.In a frying pan, take 1 tsp butter and add spinach to sauté. Sauté for 2-3 minutes and add the soup. Boil the soup and serve it hot.

 

This recipe is a good source of fibre and extremely beneficial for weight loss. It is also good for those suffering from low Haemoglobin levels.
