Detoxification is vital for the healthy functioning of your body. But you don’t need expensive detox juices or shakes to clean your system. Simply following the right kind of diet will help detoxify your body naturally. Follow this 1 week detox diet plan, for an effective and healthy detoxification.
On waking up simply have two glasses of lukewarm water.
At breakfast have fruits (avoid bananas and mangoes if you want to detoxify and lose weight at the same time). Have a cup of herbal tea after half an hour.
At lunch have any amount of cooked vegetables (in 1 tsp oil). Any amount of raw salad.
At evening have a cup of herbal tea.
An hour later have 1 glass lime juice/fruit juice such as orange, sweet lime, or apple/vegetable juices such as cucumber juice, dudhi juice, tomato juice, carrot juice, or mixed vegetable juice such as, beetroot, spinach, tomato or carrot.
Dinner should be completed by 8PM. Any amount of cooked vegetables either steamed or with regular seasoning in 1tsp oil (i.e. ginger garlic + onion + tomatoes) and raw salad (any amount).
Liquids to be consumed during the day include:
Filtered water preferably distilled or boiled.
Herbal teas such as peppermint, jasmine, rose, or chamomile tea.
Coconut water, lime water, fruit, or vegetable juice, freshly prepared (not canned) and taken within twenty minutes of its preparation.
Oil; two teaspoons daily (cold-pressed olive oil preferably).
Salt; according to taste.
