The balance of acid and alkaline states in the body is an essential factor in the maintenance of good health. The PH factor indicates the acidity and alkalinity of the body. The acid-alkaline state is crucial to determine disease states and plays a vital role in body chemistry. It is this balance that affects whether or not we are healthy. Distilled water is considered neutral. Normal PH values is 7.0. Any value below this indicates acidity and values above 7.0 indicates alkalinity. Average value for our saliva and urine are 6.0 to 6.8. This shows that our body is slightly acidic. If the PH factor falls below 6.0 it implies that the body has become too acidic and above 6.8 shows it has become too alkaline. Both these states are undesirable in maintenance of good health. One can test the saliva and urine to determine your PH levels.
