It’s a known fact that Asthma affects people of all ages. However, more often than not you get it during your childhood. Here’s a list of all the people who are at the risk of getting Asthma:

  1. Children who experience constant sound of wheezing while breathing or have respiratory infections are at highest possible risk of developing asthma. This health condition tends to continue beyond 6 years of age. The other risk factors that affect children include allergies, eczema, or parents suffering from asthma.
  2. Among children, compared with girls, boys seem to develop Asthma easily. However, among adults, it’s the opposite. More women tend to develop Asthma compared with men.
  3. People with different types of allergies are highly vulnerable to develop Asthma, since allergies are the one of the most common causes of Asthma.
  4. People who get in contact with certain types of chemical irritants or industrial dusts at their workplace also tend to develop Asthma, which is popularly known as occupational asthma.
